Many of us start a healing journey wanting only to stop hurting or hurting others, to be better versions of ourselves and to work toward high states of existence. But if we keep working and being courageous, we find ourselves facing almost unbelievable circumstances. Faced with hard choices or surreal life experiences, we start to find our worst fears, nightmares and wholy unbelievable difficulty. Could this be shadow work? When did it start? Can you stop it? Can you force it? When does it end? Can it kill you? Can you say no anytime? Is it out of your control?

How can we take the reigns and feel a sense of ownership and direction for this path? How can we do this without endless perpetual suffering? Does everyone have to experience this to grow?
